The plaster sculpture series made from objects given to me by a family. Although these objects are no longer useful or necessary, they cannot bring themselves to throw them away. Two people with different identities come together to form a family and create a single family identity. This project is about turning ‘family form’ into sculptures. The sculptures are fully custom-made, created with the oral history of a family.

The sculptures are created based on stories shared by families.

このプラスター彫刻シリーズは、ある家族から譲り受けた物を素材に制作されます。それぞれの記憶を孕んだそれらの物は、もはや実用性や必要性を失っていますが、大切で捨てることができずにいます。異なるアイデンティティを持つ二人が出会い、家族として一つのアイデンティティを形成する。このプロジェクトは、こうした「家族の形」を彫刻として具現化する試みです。彫刻はご家族からお話を聞いて制作しています。
